Can Reliance provide an Urgent Ambulance for my healthcare facility?
Reliance encourages customers to call 911 with immediate life-threatening conditions.
Does Reliance provide transportation out of state?
Yes, long-distance transports are available. Call to receive more information about rates and availability for your long-distance transport.
How far in advance should a trip be scheduled?
We recommend scheduling as soon as the complete trip information is available. Trips can be scheduled up to a year in advance. We will make every attempt to accommodate last minute requests, but we’re limited by our existing appointments for the day and the number of ambulances available.
What are your hours of operation?
Reliance Medical Transport is available 24/7.
Does Reliance Medical Transport accept major credit cards?
For the convenience of our customers, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept payment from all major insurance providers.
My insurance won’t cover my transportation. What’s the cost and how do I pay?
We can provide a flat rate estimate for any transport. For payment, we accept all major credit cards, cash, or check. You may also pay a bill by clicking “Make a Payment.”
Does private insurance cover medical transportation?
All insurance carriers are required by law to pay for emergency ambulance services, but not all cover non-emergency service. Healthcare providers can assist in obtaining prior authorization for such benefits if they exist in the subscriber’s plan. Reliance participates with most healthcare insurers.
Does Medicaid pay for medical transportation?
Your local Medicaid broker may authorize transportation with prior notice. Healthcare providers can coordinate transportation through the Medicaid broker.
