Reliance’s New Headquarters Location in Virginia Beach, VA
Reliance Medical Transport held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration at our new company headquarters on June 24th at 5261 Challedon Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. The new location serves as the headquarters for our fast-growing company as we expand into other regions.
Reliance Expands in Salisbury, NC
Reliance held another ribbon cutting ceremony in Salisbury, NC on November 18 at our new location: 218 Mocksville Ave., Salisbury, NC 28144. The new location is a larger facility that’s closer to the hospital and better equipped to support our growing staff – an exciting need for a company that opened in the city only 13 months prior.
Philanthropy
T-Shirt Drives
Reliance continued our t-shirt drives in 2023 to make a positive impact on our community and beyond. Throughout the year, our team selected different charities to support, ensuring that our efforts had a wide-reaching impact on various aspects of our community and society. Last year our T-shirt Drives supported the Fisher House Foundation, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and the TuTu Project.
Inaugural “Stuff the Ambulance’ Toy Drive
Reliance, in partnership with CycleBar, organized our inaugural “Stuff the Ambulance” Toy Drive in December, benefitting the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. The response and support we received from our team and community were truly heartwarming, and it was an honor to spread that holiday joy to the children at CHKD.
Comradery
EMS Week
Reliance Medical Transport celebrated EMS Week 2023 from May 21st to May 27th. Celebrations included Rita’s Italian Ice, specialty cookies, Reliance swag bags, and a coffee bar with donuts. But our most-loved part of the celebration was when upper management cleaned crew members’ cars!
Celebrating the Holidays Together
Our teams came together at each location to celebrate the holidays with delicious Friendsgiving meals and fun-filled Christmas parties. The camaraderie within our team is truly special, making the holiday season even more memorable.
We thank our team, customers, and community for another incredible year. 2024 is already off to a great start as we continue our mission to offer an exemplary level of quality pre-hospital and inter-facility private medical transportation by upholding the highest standards of safety, patient care, punctuality, professionalism, and customer service.
