We turned 10! Reliance Medical Transport opened a new location in Fayetteville, NC on October 1, 2024. This new location marked Reliance’s third branch, reinforcing our commitment to offering high-quality, compassionate care across North Carolina and Virginia.
Reliance is Awarded Exclusive Emergency Medical Transport Services at Langley Air Force Base
Also in October, Reliance Medical Transport was awarded the contract to serve as the exclusive provider of emergency medical transport services for Langley Air Force Base (AFB) medical clinic in Hampton, Virginia. This partnership with the 633rd Air Force Medical Group is a significant milestone and further demonstrates our commitment to supporting those who serve our country. We are deeply humbled by the opportunity to support our military community and are committed to serving those who serve us every day. This partnership underscores our dedication to supporting active service members, veterans, and their families.

T-Shirt Drives
In 2024, Reliance continued our tradition of t-shirt drives, working to make a meaningful difference in our community and beyond. As in previous years, our team selected a variety of charities to support, ensuring our efforts touched multiple important causes. Last year, our t-shirt drives raised over $3,000, benefiting organizations dedicated to Lung Cancer Awareness, Alzheimer’s Awareness, and Autism Awareness.
Earth Day Clean Up
For Earth Day, our Virginia Beach team rolled up their sleeves to help protect our local waterways by cleaning up around the Elizabeth River, located right behind our building. Their hard work made a visible impact, reinforcing our commitment to both our community and the environment. After the cleanup, the team came together to celebrate their efforts with a well-earned BBQ!
Trunk or Treat
We had an amazing time bringing the “AMBOOLANCE” to local trunk-or-treat events this Halloween season! Our ambulance got a spooky makeover, and we loved sharing treats and Halloween cheer with everyone who stopped by.

EMS Week
During EMS Week 2024 in May, Reliance Medical Transport proudly celebrated the incredible heroes on our team. The week was packed with fun and appreciation, featuring raffles, delicious lunches, swag, ice cream, and exciting games. A highlight of the festivities was the outdoor carnival, where upper management gamely took their turn in the dunk tank, making it a truly unforgettable celebration of our EMS professionals!
Friendsgiving
Our teams enjoyed heartwarming Friendsgiving celebrations in November. Beyond the delicious food, it was the people around the table who made the events truly special. In the spirit of giving back, we also collected canned goods for those in need within our community.
Christmas Celebration
We celebrated the holiday season in style with our incredible team at the Reliance Medical Transport Christmas Party, hosted at Festival on 8th in Virginia Beach. The evening was filled with delicious food, lively dancing, and the ever-popular selfie booth, creating memories to last a lifetime.
Meanwhile, our Salisbury team got into the festive spirit with an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at Afton Tavern. From hilariously over-the-top holiday attire to plenty of laughter and good company, the celebration was a perfect way to wrap up the year.
